Hypnotherapy is a collaborative, relaxing, easy, and effortless process. It is similar to daydreaming or when you first enter sleep. In this relaxed state, you have easier access to creativity, insight, and growth. Did you ever think that you already have answers, we just have to unlock them?

First, we discover the root of your mental blocks or barriers that hold you back. Until your perception of that challenge changes, you will always go back to your old habits. That perception is stored in your subconscious mind—-possibly from something you learned as a child. By using hypnosis, where your body and conscious mind are in a relaxed, natural state, together we can bring new information to your subconscious mind and change the pattern, habit, or belief held there. It is a very relaxing experience.

Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process because you are always in control. These are your goals, your body, and your mind–you don’t go unconscious. As a Certified Hypnotherapist, I am simply your guide in understanding your own mind so you can easily make the changes or get the insight you desire.

To summarize, the only way to modify our behavior is by changing the belief system in our subconscious mind. By being in a relaxed state where we shift your active “beta” brain waves into either “alpha” or “theta,” we can get access to the subconscious mind that allows us to reprogram the negative “mind talk.” It is extremely effective, and much faster than most forms of therapy because we are getting to the heart of the problem: changing how you perceive your world that no longer serves you.
